A major shift in Pakistan's education begins in April as Islamabad schools and colleges will formally teach AI and Robotics across nursery to grade 12, the Ministry of Education and National Curriculum Council announced. The tiered curriculum makes AI a non-credit topic for nursery–grade 5, a CS/AI choice in grades 6–8, and an elective in grades 9–12 with FBISE exam inclusion. Provincial adoption remains voluntary.
