Mysuru Stakeholders Outline Sustainable City Development Vision

The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) in Mysuru hosted a one-day symposium on March 6, 2026, on a 'Sustainable Development Vision for Greater Mysuru', convening experts, civic stakeholders and actor Prakash Belawadi. Speakers urged adopting satellite imagery, terrestrial data and artificial intelligence to build an open data repository and citizen-centric, data-driven planning, highlighting measures like lake protection, green streets, solar power, microgrids and rainwater harvesting to guide municipal policy.
