IIIT Hyderabad Showcases Autonomous Wheelchair And Cybersecurity Work

IIIT Hyderabad held its 25th R and D Showcase on Saturday, featuring over 400 research posters, prototypes and demonstrations from 29 research centres. Notable exhibits included an autonomous wheelchair using 3D LiDAR, Jetson Orin and ROS2 for indoor navigation, experimental flapping-wing robots, and cybersecurity panels focusing on trust, privacy and national strategy. The two-day event drew students and representatives from more than 300 industries and institutions.
