Citi Forms Multiyear Data Partnership With LSEG

Citi formed a multiyear data and analytics pact with the London Stock Exchange Group, the banks said in a Dec. 16 press release. The deal will deploy LSEG’s data, analytics and workflow solutions across Citi’s markets, investment banking, wealth, trading, risk, finance and compliance functions to bolster data foundations and modernization efforts. It will also use LSEG’s World-Check risk-intelligence to improve onboarding, monitoring and auditability, aiming to deliver faster, more consistent client insights.
Key Points
- 1Establishes multiyear deployment of LSEG data and analytics across Citi workflows including markets and trading
- 2Strengthens compliance and risk controls by integrating LSEG’s World-Check for onboarding, monitoring and auditability
- 3Enables Citi teams to produce faster, more consistent client insights and modernize enterprise data foundations
Scoring Rationale
Major partnership between Citi and LSEG drives enterprise data modernization, but represents incremental industry advancement rather than novel technology.
