Israel Strengthens Vietnam Technology and Tourism Ties

Israeli Ambassador Yaron Mayer told The Jerusalem Post on February 1, 2026 that Israel and Vietnam continue to deepen ties across technology, trade and tourism despite regional conflicts. He cited the 2023 free-trade agreement, projected bilateral trade exceeding $4 billion by end of 2026, and plans to expand visa access, tourism and cooperation in smart agriculture, water management, AI and digital innovation.
