Alibaba Ships 100,000 Zhenwu 810E Chips

Alibaba Group has shipped more than 100,000 units of its Zhenwu 810E AI chip, sources told the South China Morning Post. The ASIC, optimized for inference and some training workloads, has been deployed mainly within Alibaba Cloud, advancing the company's vertical integration and outpacing domestic rival Cambricon in deployment scale. The milestone highlights China's push to develop indigenous AI processors amid expanding U.S. export controls.
