Shanghai Launches Platforms To Boost Tech Investment

Shanghai's municipal government announced on March 14 the start of the Shanghai Global Investment Promotion Conference 2026, unveiling new public and pilot platforms to support computing power, language-data supply, embodied-AI testing, autonomous driving and new aircraft trials. Officials said the city will release an industry-map 3.0 to cultivate 25 niche sectors and integrate AI agents into government services, while nearly 500 firms and investors will attend.
