OpenAI Integrates Cerebras 750MW Low-Latency Compute

OpenAI will integrate 750 megawatts of ultra-low-latency compute from chipmaker Cerebras, with capacity rolling online in stages beginning this year and continuing through 2028, the companies said in Jan. 14 press releases. Cerebras says its AI processors deliver up to 15× faster inference than GPU systems, and OpenAI says the deployment aims to enable real-time responses for code generation, image creation and AI agents.
