Nvidia Faces Tariff Mechanism For H200 Shipments

Wolfe Research analyst Chris Caso reiterated an Outperform rating and $250 price target on Nvidia on January 15. The White House announced a 25% tariff aimed at certain advanced semiconductors, expected to apply to H200 shipments to China; analysts say the tariff merely formalizes a pre-agreed payment and is not materially new. Nvidia said $2–5 billion per quarter of China shipments could occur if export permissions are granted.
