South Korean government on Wednesday unveiled a comprehensive export strategy to raise this year's exports to a record $740 billion, targeting diversification away from semiconductors. The plan prioritizes eight sectors — consumer goods, power equipment, biohealth, defense, nuclear, automobiles, ships and steel — and expands trade support including 275 trillion won in trade insurance, 187 trillion won in SME trade finance and 127 trillion won for strategic industries through 2030.
