Descope Launches Agentic Identity Hub For AI Agents

Descope updated its Agentic Identity Hub to provide MCP developers and AI agent builders with standards-based identity infrastructure enabling agents to be managed as first-class identities alongside human users. The update adds OAuth 2.1 and tool-level scopes for internal and external MCP servers, credential vaulting, policy-based governance, and agent logging to address production-readiness and security gaps cited by enterprises.
