Claude Cowork Can Turn Screen Recordings Into Reusable Skills

Custom skills have generally required users to describe a workflow or package written instructions and supporting files. Screen recording adds another authoring path: the user demonstrates the process in the interface where the work actually happens and narrates the intent behind each step. Claude then produces a reusable skill from that demonstration.

Cyber Security News independently reported the rollout and described it as a lower-friction route for people who know a business process but do not want to write a script or a detailed instruction set. The announcement establishes the creation flow, not its reliability across every application or task.
