Canada And India Expand Energy Trade Partnership

Canada and India pledge expanded oil and gas trade and will relaunch a ministerial energy dialogue after talks between ministers Tim Hodgson and Hardeep Singh Puri. Ottawa will ship more crude, LNG and LPG to India while New Delhi will export more refined petroleum products to Canada; both governments will explore reciprocal investment and collaboration in hydrogen, biofuels, battery storage, critical minerals and AI.
