Manuel Kroiss, a cofounder of xAI who led pretraining, has told colleagues he is leaving the company, sources say. His exit is the tenth cofounder departure since 2023, leaving Ross Nordeen as the only remaining cofounder besides Elon Musk. xAI, acquired by SpaceX, is preparing an expected IPO this year that could value it at $1.5 trillion.
