VNU-HCM Targets Top-100 Asian University Ranking

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long approved a 2026–2030 program to develop Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) into one of Asia's leading higher education and research institutions, with a vision through 2045. The plan sets targets including a top-100 Asian ranking by 2030, specific global discipline placements, 75% doctoral lecturers, 1,500 recruited scientists, and emphasis on AI, mathematics and semiconductors.
