U.S. Teens Use Chatbots For Schoolwork

Pew Research Center surveyed 1,458 U.S. teens and parents online Sept. 25–Oct. 9, 2025, finding 64% of teens report using AI chatbots and about 30% use them daily. The survey found 57% use chatbots for information and 54% for schoolwork, with 10% doing most or all schoolwork with AI and 59% saying AI cheating occurs at least sometimes.
