South Korea, Indonesia Forge AI Cooperation Agreement
South Korea and Indonesia on April 1, 2026 signed a memorandum of understanding to expand exchanges in the artificial intelligence industry and cooperate on global challenges, the South Korean science ministry said. The MOU establishes a joint digital development committee, expert exchanges, and the Global AI Universal Basic Society Solidarity Initiative targeting health, education, digital policy, next-generation communications and information protection.
