PMRDA Unveils Rs 826.62 Crore River Rejuvenation Plan
PMRDA has drawn up an integrated Rs 826.62 crore river rejuvenation plan to clean the Indrayani and Pavana rivers, presented on 18 December in Aundh. The Centre and Maharashtra will fund 60/40 with Rs 674.13 crore for Indrayani and Rs 152.49 crore for Pavana, including new and upgraded sewage-treatment plants, tertiary treatment, underground sewers and 14 STPs totaling 5.84 MLD MMBR.
