Producers of foreign-made power inverters may seek a determination from the Department of War or Department of Homeland Security that a product does not pose the identified risks. Advanced robotic devices may seek that determination from the Department of War.
That distinction matters: this is not an order to remove every foreign-made robot or inverter already deployed. It is a market-access restriction on covered new equipment, with a product-specific exception process.
