NxtGen Builds Sovereign AI Factory For Inference

NxtGen Cloud Technologies is investing Rs 3,600 crore to build a sovereign AI factory with Dell, Nvidia, CommScope and Vertiv, CEO A S Rajgopal told ET. The Bengaluru facility hosts a 4,000-GPU, 512-server cluster across 6,000 sq ft, supports VLMs, and is 30% equity-funded with the remainder debt; a second identical cluster is planned this year.
Key Points
- 1Deploys 4,000-GPU, 512-server cluster optimized for population-scale enterprise inference in Bengaluru
- 2Secures Dell, Nvidia, CommScope and Vertiv partnerships to deliver high-density, low-latency AI training and inferencing
- 3Enables VLMs across Nvidia, Intel and AMD GPUs, offering tiered pricing and wider deployment options
Scoring Rationale
Official, well-detailed infrastructure announcement drives score; limited novelty beyond regional enterprise inference deployment and significance.
