Nvidia Releases DLSS 4.5 With Improved Fidelity

Nvidia this year releases DLSS 4.5 with a 2nd-generation Transformer upscaler, claiming better temporal stability, improved resolution, and sharper details; the Nvidia app now supports DLSS 4.5 in more than 400 titles. Notebookcheck tested four AAA games at 4K and found measurable visual fidelity gains but frame-rate penalties varying from about 5% (Black Myth) to 44.5% (Doom), with Preset M favored for higher-quality upscaling.
