Musician Creates AI Band And Releases Album
An independent musician and academic used generative AI tools to create a fictional band, Intelligent Band Machine, and released a 14-track album, 'Welcome to NTU,' on XRMeta Records in May 2025. Testing roughly 60 platforms including Suno and Udio, he found strong audio generation but inconsistent vocals, tempo shifts, and weak lyrics, so he wrote lyrics himself to maintain narrative cohesion.
