Microsoft Launches NLWeb For Conversational Websites

Microsoft this week launched NLWeb, an open project led by R.V. Guha that connects website content to AI using structured data and the Model Context Protocol (MCP). NLWeb enables site owners to expose machine-readable content so AI agents and LLMs can return conversational, personalized answers, and Yoast is integrating NLWeb into its WordPress products in phased rollouts. The project aims to make web content discoverable by AI-driven search and agents.
