Meta Tests Subscriptions Integrating Manus AI Agents

Meta Platforms is set to test new subscription models across Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp in coming months, offering expanded AI capabilities and scaling general AI agents from its December acquisition of Manus for about $2 billion, TechCrunch and a Meta spokesperson said on Tuesday. Chinese officials are reviewing the Manus deal for possible technology-control violations, FT reported, and Meta said subscriptions will offer basic free access to Vibes with paid premium features while it gathers user feedback.
