MBZUAI Releases K2 Think V2 Model

MBZUAI, G42 and Cerebras announced K2 Think V2 on Jan. 27, a 70-billion-parameter advanced reasoning model built on IFM's open-source K2-V2 foundation. The model operates as a fully sovereign, open and inspectable system and claims step-by-step reasoning across mathematics, science, coding, logic and simulation. The partners say K2 Think V2 targets improved reasoning, tool-use and agentic capabilities and supports UAE technological sovereignty.
