Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Launches E-Seva Portals, Promotes AI

On Feb. 11 in Leh, Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta launched the e-Seva Model and Village Assessment Module portals to improve efficiency, transparency and accessibility of government services. Gupta said Ladakh can become India’s first AI state, noting youth make up nearly 60% of the population and highlighting renewable-energy and cold-climate advantages for low-carbon AI infrastructure and inclusive, skill-driven development.
