Jordan Directs Army Structural Transformation Roadmap

Jordan’s King Abdullah II on Saturday directed the preparation of a comprehensive strategy and a three-year roadmap to achieve a structural transformation of the Armed Forces, the Royal Hashemite Court said. The plan mandates integrating cyber defense and offense, drones and artificial intelligence across units, and reorienting the Jordan Design and Development Bureau toward R&D and manufacturing of advanced defense technologies.
