Japanese Society Releases iNPH Management Guidelines
The Japanese Society of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus endorsed and published third-edition guidelines for management of idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus on J-STAGE on Feb. 15, 2021. The 35-author guideline (Volume 61, Issue 2, pp. 63–97) provides consensus recommendations on diagnosis, patient selection, and surgical shunting. The guidance aims to standardize clinical practice and improve patient outcomes.
