IPIDEA Denies Allegations Over Proxy Abuse

Google's Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) this week said it disrupted much of the infrastructure of Chinese proxy operator IPIDEA, alleging its SDK-powered global proxy network was rented to state-sponsored hackers and used to route malicious traffic. IPIDEA, part of Jiangsu Aidi Information Technology, denies the claims, cites KYC and automated protections, acknowledges reseller compliance gaps, and offers to cooperate with Google.
