India Launches Sovereign AI Models At Summit

The Indian government says it will launch indigenously developed sovereign AI models at the India AI Impact Summit, scheduled February 16 to 20 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said about USD 70 billion in AI infrastructure investment is already committed and could double by the summit's conclusion, with responses from over 100 countries. Global tech and industry leaders will attend.
