The global semiconductor industry reported record 2025 revenue of $791.7 billion, up 25.6% year-over-year, and is projected to reach roughly $1 trillion in 2026, the Semiconductor Industry Association said based on WSTS data. Growth was driven by AI demand and elevated prices, with Asia Pacific expanding 45%, the Americas up 30.5%, China 17.3%, Europe 6.3%, and Japan down 4.7%.
