General Magic Builds Texting Agents For Insurance

Toronto-based startup OpenSesame's co-founders Jai Mansukhani and Anthony Azrak announced Tuesday they rebranded to General Magic and are focusing on building agentic AI texting agents for insurers to handle claims and policy questions. After completing a16z’s speedrun accelerator last summer and signing a large insurer under NDA, the six-person team says its platform can reduce call volumes by 30 percent and cut over 250 hours monthly.
