Gemini Cuts Workforce And Exits Multiple Markets

Gemini announced on Feb. 5 that it will cut its workforce by 25% and withdraw from the United Kingdom, European Economic Area and Australia, placing accounts in withdrawal-only mode on March 5 and closing them April 6. The company said it will narrow its focus to prediction markets and the United States, noting Gemini Predictions has over 10,000 users and $24 million traded since December.
