Clawdbot Enables Local Personal AI Agents

Clawdbot, created by Peter Steinberger and community contributors, is an open-source TypeScript project enabling users to run local personal AI agents on their own hardware, integrating LLMs like Anthropic’s Claude and OpenAI with messaging apps such as WhatsApp and Telegram. It stores memories as Markdown files, offers a local gateway/agent architecture, has 8,000+ GitHub stars, and was tested by Federico Viticci on an M4 Mac mini that consumed 180 million Anthropic API tokens in a week.
