China Nurtures Emerging And Future Industries

China's government submitted a work report Thursday to the National People's Congress outlining plans to nurture emerging pillar industries in 2026, including integrated circuits, aviation and aerospace, biomedicine, and the low-altitude economy. The report also names industries of the future—future energy, quantum technology, embodied artificial intelligence, brain-computer interfaces, and 6G—signaling prioritization of advanced-tech sectors for policy and investment planning.
