ChatGPT App Adds Persistent Session Memory

OpenAI is testing UI and memory changes in the ChatGPT Android app (version 1.2026.062), including persistent in-app session memory that resumes where users left off, redesigned image-editing workflow with direct Edit/resize and annotation shortcuts, a new "fun facts" profile field and generate-bio button, and a move to a full-screen sidebar. These development features were discovered via an APK teardown and may change before public release.
