Catapult Deploys Vector 8 With AWS IoT

Catapult Sports has built Vector 8, a next-generation athlete-monitoring system, using AWS IoT Core, AWS IoT Greengrass, Amazon MSK, ECS and S3 to ingest device health, live 'hot' data at 10 Hz and 'cold' 100 Hz inertial data. The system supports rapid OTA updates—up to 32× faster—serving over 5,000 teams and enabling faster feature delivery, streamlined onboarding, and scalable ML-backed performance analytics.
