CanSemi Launches Phase IV Guangzhou IC Expansion

CanSemi Technology Inc launched Phase IV of its Guangzhou integrated circuit project on Thursday, announcing more than 35.2 billion yuan (about $5 billion) in construction investment and a 12-inch analog-mixed signal production line with monthly capacity of 40,000 wafers. The expansion will focus on sensing, transmission, storage, computing, control and display to serve AI, edge AI, industrial and automotive electronics and bolster the Greater Bay Area IC ecosystem.
