ARM Hires 50 Sony Israel AI Experts

ARM’s Israel development hub in Ra’anana hired about 50 AI engineers laid off by Sony Israel between September and December 2025, Globes reported on January 27, 2026. The recruits include the former director of Sony Israel's AI and software division and several PhD researchers, boosting ARM Israel to nearly 200 employees and supporting its GPU and machine-learning efforts. The move strengthens local edge-AI and computer-vision expertise and may accelerate ARM’s chip roadmap.
