Anthropic Records Over One Million Daily Signups

Anthropic reports that more than one million people are signing up daily for its Claude conversational and generative AI models, making the Claude app the top free app on both Google Play and the App Store in multiple regions. The surge follows controversy around OpenAI's partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense and a DoD "supply chain risk" designation for Anthropic, which it plans to challenge.
