Adobe Introduces Firefly Custom Models For Creators

Adobe is releasing Firefly custom models in public beta today, enabling creators to train the model on their illustration, photography, or character styles to produce consistent images. The beta, for premium subscribers, charges 500 credits per training and accepts 10–30 JPG/PNG images at minimum 1024×1024 resolution. Adobe also opened a private Project Moonlight beta for conversational assistants and added access to 30+ external image and video models, with unlimited generation promos through April 22.
Key Points
- 1Enable creators to train Firefly on 10–30 images to capture unique photography or illustration styles.
- 2Reduce iteration friction by preserving stroke weight, color palettes, lighting, and character features across outputs.
- 3Allow brands and teams to reuse models across projects, scaling consistent visual assets for campaigns.
Scoring Rationale
Official, directly usable feature with broad relevance; novelty is moderate given similar custom-model offerings from competitors.
