Y Combinator Reinstates Canada For Incorporation Eligibility

Y Combinator removed Canada from its list of acceptable incorporation countries last week, then reversed the policy after public backlash, CEO Garry Tan said. Tan said YC had noticed top-performing Canadian companies often reincorporated in the US, which gives easier access to investor capital; YC reiterated it will continue to accept Canadian founders and invited applications.
