CRIF released its latest Credit Insights report on International Women's Day showing women borrowers in India grew at a 14.2% CAGR over the past five years, accounting for 27.6% of retail credit and 41% of new-to-credit customers. Loans against gold comprise about 43.5% of women's borrowing, with secured business, home and education lending also rising. Delinquency for women is 2.8%, below men's 3.3%.
