War Secretary Deploys Grok AI Across Pentagon

War Secretary Pete Hegseth visited SpaceX’s Starbase on Monday and announced the War Department will deploy X’s Grok AI and Google’s Gemini models across every classified and unclassified network beginning later this month, and named Cameron Stanley as the department’s chief digital and artificial intelligence officer. He also directed cross-service sharing of “all appropriate data” to accelerate AI-driven warfighting capability development.
