Toradex Launches OSM and Lino COMs
Swiss embedded computing specialist Toradex announced the launch of two compact computer-on-module families, OSM and Lino, for industrial automation and IoT. The 30×30mm modules use NXP i.MX 91 or 93 SoCs (up to dual Cortex-A55, optional 0.5 TOPS neural coprocessor), available as solderable BGA or removable board-to-board modules. Toradex supplies Yocto and Torizon software support for integration and long-term deployment.
Key Points
- 1Introduces OSM and Lino COM families in 30×30mm size, solderable BGA and board-to-board variants
- 2Provides i.MX 91/93 SoC choices, up to dual Cortex-A55 cores and optional 0.5 TOPS neural coprocessor
- 3Enables compact, serviceable industrial IoT devices with soldered or replaceable modules and Yocto/Torizon support
Scoring Rationale
Practical significance for industrial edge AI due to official specs and adaptability, limited novelty beyond existing COM standards.
