Tech Europe Foundation Consolidates Milan Academic Programs

The Tech Europe Foundation (TEF), backed by billionaire Andrea Pignataro, is consolidating with Politecnico di Milano’s incubator and Bocconi University’s entrepreneurial arms, integrating a portfolio of more than 70 startups. TEF has secured about €120 million, targeting €1 billion by 2030, and will fund research, grants, and mentorship concentrated on AI, biotech, semiconductors, and advanced materials. The move aims to accelerate startup growth and address Italy’s venture-capital shortfall.
