South Korea reported record February exports of $67.45 billion on March 1, up 29 percent year-on-year, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources said. Semiconductor shipments drove the gain, with chip exports surging 160.8 percent to $25.16 billion and per-day exports rising 49.3 percent to $3.55 billion, producing a record $15.51 billion trade surplus.
