Snowflake Launches Cortex Code AI Agent
Snowflake on Feb. 3, 2026 unveiled Cortex Code, a Snowflake-native AI coding agent and development suite to automate data engineering, analytics and AI application development within enterprise data environments. The tool runs inside Snowflake’s governance controls and is available in Snowsight and via a CLI; integrations include Vercel’s v0 "vibe coding" and the Brave Search API. Snowflake says customers already use it to accelerate production deployments.
