Seoul Bike Service Leaks 4.5 Million Records

Personal information of about 4.5 million members of Seoul's municipal public bike-sharing service Ttareungyi was believed leaked in April 2024, Yonhap reported on Friday. Leaked fields reportedly included names, phone numbers, birthdates and addresses, while resident registration numbers were not collected; police have opened an investigation and suspect hackers, raising fraud and secondary-harm concerns.
