Samsung India Drives Galaxy S26 Development

Samsung Electronics' India R&D centres in Bengaluru and Noida helped develop the Galaxy S26 series, company executive J B Park said at the launch event. Bengaluru focused on on-device AI camera algorithms while Noida handled localisation, coding and telecom configurations across about 129 markets; India hosts over 10,000 engineers and contributes roughly 10% of Samsung's global revenue. Samsung aims to double AI-powered devices to 800 million by 2026, reflecting growing adoption.
